How do I setup Outlook and Outlook Express?
Outlook Users:
Step 1.) Open Outlook
Step 2.) Click
Tools on the top of your screen.
Step 3.) Click Accounts
Step 4.) Click
Add, and then click
Mail
Step 5.) On the
Display Name page of the wizard, type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you, and then click Next. Most people use their full name, but you can use any name, even a nickname, that people will recognize.
Step 6.) Email Address:
yourname@yourdomain.com
Step 7.) Incoming Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Step 8.) Outgoing Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Step 9.) Account Name:
Enter your email address here.
Step 10.) Password: Enter your password provided when you received it, or the one you entered when you setup this email address.
Step 11.) Connection Method: Select whether you connect via
phone line with a dial up modem or via highspeed internet with a
LAN.
Outlook Express:
Step 1.) Open Outlook Express
Step 2.) Go to the
Tools menu, click
Accounts.
If the Internet Connection Wizard starts up automatically, skip ahead to step 4.
Step 3.) Click
Add, and then click
Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard.
Step 4.) On the
Your Name page of the wizard, type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you, and then click Next. Most people use their full name, but you can use any name, even a nickname, that people will recognize.
Step 5.) On the Internet Explorer Address page, type your e-mail address, and then click Next.
Step 6.) Email Address:
yourname@yourdomain.com
Step 7.) Incoming Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Step 8.) Outgoing Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Step 9.) On the Internet Mail Logon page, type your
account name and
password. Account Name is your email address.
